Agreed, in our most recent election I knew someone who did not want to bother voting because “we live in Calgary and my riding is going Conservative anyway” (This was them wanting to vote for our joke party, which is effectively not voting), yet their riding was the only riding that swapped. https://calgary.citynews.ca/2025/04/28/canada-election-results-calgary-edmonton-alberta/.
