It’s a similar issue to Regan’s Star Wars plan. Militarizing space opens a can of worms that could be very hard to close.

We’re the axis of evil dude. Our Clown Prince is reviving the Star Wars Program. Which means China will join in and show us how its done. Again. Like they did with trains and literally all other infrastructure. Electronics. Nuclear Power. Etc.
