You’re right. It is damaging to the LGBT community when people say shit like this. This line of thinking is everywhere online, and it needs to stop. The people that commit these crimes are bigots, not closeted homosexuals. “Every accusation is a confession”. Not when it comes to anti-gay violence. Anti-gay violence is rooted in hate, not some fear of being outed for being gay.
