I’ve said this before on Lemmy and got down voted, but this is accurate. When it comes to current willingness to fight for our rights, Americans are Russians, not the French.
There just aren’t any serious leftist movements. Tankies are passionate and as much overlap as you might have they won’t want to pull in the same direction for one reason or another. Texas has possibly more left leaning people, but they will never show up, nor make their own party to spoil the vote (still worth doing to shift the overton window back).
