An Airbnb host says he'll lose around $47,000 in income after the company began cancelling summer reservations due to a dispute with B.C.'s short-term rental registration.

Good. He’s running a short term rental in a municipality where it isn’t permitted. Saanich says apply for a Bed and Breakfast license, if that’s the service you provide. That’s all that’s allowed.
