Yes, there are civilian deaths on both sides, and that is lamentable. But to imply that it is anywhere near an equal conflict or that both sides are anywhere near equally to blame is completely ignorant of the facts.
Not to mention that the 2023 picture of the Brandenburg Gate was a sign of solidarity with Israel in response to the October 2023 attack on Israel where Hamas gleefully abducted, raped and murdered Israeli civilians, men women and children. It doesn’t matter what you think of Israel’s treatment of Palestinians or the subsequent response to the attack, there is no world in which such an attack could ever be justified (although I’ve seen plenty of attempts to try). Comparing modern Germany showing sympathy for such an attack with the Germany that perpetrated the holocaust is absurd and, in my opinion, quite disgusting.
