Not posted here was a Carney-Sheibaum meeting this week that had general headlines on this theme.

Significant US economic activity was generated from Canada-Mexico trade and NAFTA/USMCA from fuel and transit taxes.

I can’t confirm how solid these plans are, but this is an obvious step that Canadian politicians could highlight to disprove incompetence and slave gaslighting.

    No. They are not a reliable partner either. They don’t share our values nor are they comitted to the rules based order, or the rule of law internationally or internally.

    For all the reasons the US are a poor partner, China is doubly so.

      Extreme propaganda programming seems the cornerstone of any “legitimate” democracy. Not healthy for you.

      GM partnered with/licensed China for US battery plant, and Mexico is not particularly know for battery science expertise, and China partnership there led to plants. Canada can do the same, with Canadian sourced raw materials. Honda was supposed to do something.

      Start threatening auto companies to invest or get their assets seized.
