If you’re creating a post in a community that is SFW, there is an option near the bottom to mark your post as NSFW; however, when creating a post in a NSFW community that option disappears. When you submit your post in the NSFW community, it will not be marked as NSFW.
There are people browsing All that will see a post from a NSFW community that is not marked as such. The mods of that community have to hear about that even though the user has no option to mark it.
Is it possible for every single post in the NSFW community be marked as NSFW?
Here is what I mean:

It makes sense that the button disappears if the community is NSFW, but if you’re going to take that button away why not mark every single post submitted as NSFW?
Well that’s dumb. If you check that box before choosing the community, it still disappears, but it will properly show tagged as NSFW.
that’s because SJW is still on 0.19.11. 0.19.12 fixes this by forcing new posts in NSFW communities to be NSFW. see #5649. the UI change made it in 0.19.11 already but the backend change was broken and not backported.
Isn’t it that NSFW communities and posts therein are implicitly filtered out when browsing in SFW mode?
That’s what I thought also! It does actually filter the posts (I’ve checked), but I’ve received reports and DM’s from people telling me that it’s missing the NSFW tag. Some people enable NSFW in their settings and then get shocked when they come across an unmarked NSFW post. I do get their point of view though with clicking on something not marked as NSFW and seeing NSFW material.
