I saw a news report in China on TV highlighting the start of a local Uyghur festival in Urumqi. So they clearly aren’t trying to pretend like they don’t exist. They seem to take pride in their ethnic minorities over there from what I’ve observed.
That’s just factually wrong. Kofi Annan was born in Ghana and died in Switzerland so he’s obviously not a fucking American you’ll have to do your own research on the rest.
