I always just assumed it was because of my ADHD or other mental stuff, but I am always tired no matter how much I sleep. I’ve had this problem since about puberty and doctors can’t give me an answer. I just find it hard to be motivated. Everything is a huge effort and I find it hard to keep on top of all the shit we need to do to maintain our lives. I am so sick of having to constantly cook and clean and maintain things. Everything is such a slog. How do you people find the energy to do anything other than work? By the time I’ve finished my University work, I can’t be assed doing anything else.
Having the exact same issue.
Of course you are.
I really need to stop budding off during the miosis season. I don’t think this site is ready for 1000 dirt owls screaming and farting everywhere
I’m with you. There’s just too much and I just want to sleep all the time. For me I notice an improvement if I take a vitamin D supplement, but only a little. A friend of mine found out she has low iron and so taking an iron supplement improves her energy levels.
But, I think it really is just alienation due to capitalism that’s been building in the background for years leading to low level anxiety and depression. At least for me. I do remedy this by reading theory occasionally.
I should take vitamin D
It’s at least an easy and safe thing to try
I felt what sounds like the same way before I started taking an antidepressant (in my case, wellbutrin SR, because I’m genetically predisposed to not metabolize SSRIs well). I’ve had energy and motivation for stuff since then.
I might look into that, thanks.
it could be many things, hormone stuff, many different vitamin deficiencies, you should probably get your blood checked but i know thats expensive. also could just be regular burn out.
