I am Soliman, carrying the biggest responsibility of supporting my family while also continuing my studies. However, the needs of the family are far greater than my capacity. We once had a farm, our only source of livelihood, but it was burned and destroyed. Alongside all this suffering and pain, I try my best to ease the hardship and provide for the family’s needs.
Our farm (with olive and citrus trees and a small greenhouse) was our main source of income. Sadly, it was completely destroyed and burned, along with all the blessings and memories it held. We used to accompany our father and help him with some farming work. Today, we struggle to find an alternative and to create a new source of income, but the situation is very difficult.
