Well, I’m definitely pleased that the gun community sees the parallels. I know that a lot of gun communities tend to lean right, but once you start restricting one thing, you can restrict the next thing. whether that means more restrictions against gun owners or more restrictions against the transgender population.
This intersectionality is certainly something I didn’t expect to see. I am a transgender military veteran and I plan on owning a firearm when I have the opportunity to. (I’m renting and would rather not have the other tenants have access to such things)
This scares me a bit though since it opens up the door for more restrictions to what I can do, jobs I can have (I already can’t reenlist) and places I can go
