      Democratic party’s steadfast insistence on running losers and ratfucking any potential winner is also why we can’t get rid of Trump.

        it’s mind boggling how much voters hate trump, but still keep giving their support to the party that has proven to be in league with trump at the worst and absolutely useless against him at best.

      He refused to back her in the primary, which is where team blue is supposed to express preferences for and against other Democrats.

          Was he even asked? He was a random assemblyman, not a representative of the party or even a faction within it. Did your lower house state representative endorse? I don’t think mine did and not because he’s at odds with the party. I’m not even sure if my city’s mayor made an endorsement.

          Regardless, Jeffries and Schumer are the leaders of a party, a very different role, and have actively avoided it, making the big tent they’re supposed to be building a lie, meaningfully promoting inter party strife, and giving cover to a fascist confrontation once he’s elected. Their actions as leaders of a party (with 20% approval) matter.
