Russia is trying to turn the population against helping Ukraine, they are hoping the population will be afraid that we may risk war with Russia.

That’s exactly the same tactic they’ve had all along, right from the beginning where they shot off natural gas from Russia, in the hopes that we would “realize” we can’t manage without energy from Russia.
It’s the same reason they also continuously threaten with nuclear war.
And the same reason they claim to be at war with NATO.

Putin is KGB through and through, he thinks he can win through misinformation, and is constantly using it as a weapon.

It is part of the disinformation campaign.

They are trying to scare EU from helping Ukraine. All the people high on Russian propaganda is using this that EU is trying to start WW3. People who don’t follows news hear both sides and be say “why are we getting ourselves into this, we should worry when we are attacked”, not realizing that Russia with Ukraine will be much more formidable opponent.

Why even consider anything else at this point?

Finding out if they’re far enough ahead in drone warfare to justify an expanded war with the rest of Eastern Europe or all of Europe.

Because Russians are bloodthirsty dickheads.

They gain enemies which will hasten the destruction of the Russian federation 🤗
