Years ago when I had an iPhone I used Darksky, then used it in Android when I switched too, until Apple bought it.

I’ve seen answers around on other sites, but wondering what apps people use?

Would love to see a similar functionality available on Android 14 someday.

I use weawow. Lots of options for where to source the data and the widget options are great.

Always open to try new things, though.

Recommend this as well. Using the foreca as weather provider has been quite accurate.

For a quick glance the Google weather widget is also decent.

Today Weather has been pretty good for me. I also paid for it awhile ago. What I like about it is that I set it to AccuWeather as the Data Source so it’s pretty much the same info I would get if I ask Google Home what the weather is. Although there are a few other Data Sources available of course, I just like it to be fairly consistent across my devices either by voice or through the app.

Also the radar function in it works quite nicely as well.

I’ve also played around with WeaWoo weather and it’s great. But I just find myself coming back to Today Weather every time.

Shadow weather for forecast, flowx for radar. I wish weather timeline wasn’t shutdown.

I use Google’s weather app, like checking out what the frog is doing. I have the same setup on my Nest Max

I typically will use the Google at a glance widget on my Pixel 6 home screen for general use and then added a Weather Underground widget on my home screen that is set up to monitor my home weather station. I have been trying out Weather Today and really like it’s look.

I also utilize The Weather Channel and WeatherBug primarily as a consistency with the apps my office on the other side of the country uses for scheduling any outside weather dependent jobs in my area.

I also just a couple of days ago downloaded the FOSS app Weatherian to try out but honestly haven’t had a chance to really check it out yet.
