The officers have trained long and hard to sit with attentive expressions during the speeches. Thousands of power point presentations will do that.
It cultivates a professional mask. Who knows what they are actually thinking: last night’s argument with the wife? A grocery list? How to help establish a true Aryan state? Imagining shooting the administration? How to plot a coup? How to help with counter coups? Admiration for Trump? Trying to not look nauseated?
A very mixed lot.
I’m guessing the ones that aren’t thinking about helping establish a true Aryan state will be dismissed in short order.
