I don’t if they know any songs. The squirrel baffle keeps the hens from getting in the top of the feeder and keeps them from pooping into it from above.

I asked my wife if she had a video and she said that she did not. I know they have poked at it but I think it’s been there long enough that they’re not interested anymore. Music isn’t one of the three Fs that chickens are interested in. They’re Feeding, Fighting, and Reproducing.

        LoL, and… reproducing.

Maybe you could build an instrument into a feeder and hook it up to something IoT for Internet broadcasts

Have you been watching my YouTube videos?

There is probably something to be done with an Arduino to make chicken music. Maple syrup season is coming, though.

Chickens are cool little girls. My friends have a bunch of them and hanging out with the chickens is fun.
    They love cheese puff balls.

Unfortunately they named a couple of them. One has survived a few cullings just because she’s so dumb they can never find her.

That’s what I said. But no, she’s not. They told me a couple things and immediately realized yeah that’s a dumb chicken. It’s just been lucky.

        OP can probably relate.

One of the things you need to get used to if you’re going to make the transition from keeping them as pets to keeping them as livestock if that they have a fixed lifetime. I had an animal rights activist take a run at me once because we name our pigs. I explained that it’s easier to say to my wife that, “Bitey has a scratch” than it is to try to describe which of the three large, black pigs I’m talking about. We take very good care of our animals and like most of them, I like the ducks and turkeys way more than I like the chickens and the pigs are my favorite the years we have them, but they are livestock. We take very good care of them and make them as happy and healthy as possible but they are going to have a bunch of very good days and one bad day. It’s harsh, but our animals are livestock.
