    Install a bare-bones linux distro. I bet PuppyOS will work. May not even need a plug.

      No, the next stage is some kind of very odd slime working its way into computer, and then beginning to grow as an eldritch/hl2-combine-esque horror conglomeration of synthetic biology.

      I… may not be correctly remember the upgrade path I am trying to describe though.

      I used to have quite a headache about it.
