Image: 3I/ATLAS from ExoMars TGO

A lot of talk about this interstellar object 3I/ATLAS the last few months. I’m not saying it’s aliens but it’s probably aliens. Not a lot of these ISO’s but astronomers believe ISO’s are mostly normal stuff ejected from other solar systems in the Milky Way. They got some earth and space assets taking measurements and it has a few interesting anomalies.

    Almost definitely a comet but it’s real weird which is cool. Trying to figure out what the comet is made of and why it’s so different than expected is probably a really interesting topic too. I’m curious what will come out of the observations.

    Why would people who have advanced enough technology to travel super-liminal and disguise themselves as a comet decide to not hide themselves better? We can make battleships look like fishing boats on radar just by making them square or whatever, I’m sure there’s ways to trick cameras and radio telescopes an advanced society could sort out.
