Let me know what you accomplished at these events, even if it was having visceral flashbacks to liberal dogshit circa 2021 and realizing I am always right thx

Well they’re not having brunch now, are they? Take the opportunity and meet people where they’re at. I’ll take a radlib willing to take to the streets over a chronically online communist sitting in their basement complaining any day.

Show up to one of these and start singing the Internationale, you’ll discover a lot more comrades there than you would expect. Being embarassed to protest side by side with liberals just demonstrates insecurity about how powerless you feel, which is understandable, but the cure to that is taking action, even if it’s just joining the parade of the liberals. Like it or not that’s where the energy and will to resist is, and it will adjust its methods as the situation evolves.

I get where some of these remarks are coming from, e.g. “we are crashing the event”. It would be sick if that was happening, but in that case these are the most likely people to hand you over to the cops in the first place, assembled en masse. My problem is there’s insufficient difference between western left groups and the democrats, whose events they are supposedly crashing. The appeal is “hey, we could hook more voters with common sense progressivism (DSA)/resurrection of New Deal policies and rallying with Amy Klobuchar outside the Capitol (CPUSA)/achieving decolonization through NGO activism and consciousness-raising with our Beloved Repentant Veterans™ (PSL)!” and the time for taking that shit (and Jill Stein etcetera) seriously was maybe twenty years ago. I get Palestine has caused a lot of progressives to flail around looking for something else, it makes sense.

Anyways I already said I was done arguing about this which is why these posts are going directly into the 🕳️ but maybe one or two people get something out of it

Oh you think it’s tough now, wait until we get to the question of how FRSO leadership was able to tap congressional allies to get student protests freed when they left other members behind bars!

Enjoy this visual aid in the meantime. I know we will need to be very thorough to dissuade such low-effort comments going forward, I am taking my sweet time.
