A Department of Veterans Affairs memo obtained by ProPublica erects new roadblocks to care for veterans with the rare but deadly cancer. The agency cites no new science but relies on an executive order about “restoring biological truth” in government.
It’s obnoxious that this was all brought about from a law using “reproductive” to describe cancers rather than just saying “cancers in the breasts or genitals”. Lawyer seems to be one of the go to professions for aspiring politicians and then they just fuck up people’s lives with imprecise language.
Also, trans women can breast feed their children. Are they women in the eyes of the VA? And if not aren’t their “male” breasts reproductive?
