I’m conflicted by bot account/reposts. On the one hand I like that they kickstart the content on Lemmy. On the other I really hate that the title isn’t changed so it appears like this is some kind of OC.
I suppose the appearance of OC is fine, but I do wish they’d add a source in the description so you could find who the person actually is if you like their content.
I finally got around to testing this and it does work as I thought. Click the ‘i.redd.it’ link on each of my posts and you’ll be brought to a reddit page where you can view the original post. You can get the OP from there.

I actually thought you could open the image in a browser and it’d show the account on the bottom left.
Nope, it’s just an image. If the OP watermarked their content then their name will be in the image, but that’s not always the case.
