    I generally agree with you, however I don’t think you can really say thatviewing options have improved. That depends on a lot of factors, with the most important one being preference.

      I mean even if the best ever show to you was something in the 1990s, that’s still an option so I don’t think anyone can say options have gotten worse. But if you like some of the newer shows more than the laugh track sitcoms, options have improved for you.

      When it comes to choices, more IS better if the original choices are still there too.

        Yes more choice often better, not always but often. You specifically said that there are better shows out there though. That’s not fact that’s opinion. Art is like that.

          I didn’t say that, that was someone else. My point was that if for everyone, either the choices have stayed the same (because you only watch Friends and Seinfeld), or they’ve gotten better, because you like the new shows better. That means that on the whole, things are better, because for literally nobody are the available options now worse than in the 90s.
