Do people actually like his movies? To me he seems like another Eli Roth. A name that makes almost exclusively trash. I’ll give him this though. He has a great ability to make very interesting looking trailers. He knows how to sell. I just don’t think he actually has the ability to direct a good film if his life depended on it.
Anyone disagree? What, of his movies, do you like? So far my favorite is “Not Another Teen Movie.”
I really liked I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House (though it may not be to everyone’s taste from the looks of the relatively low score it gets on IMDb) as well as The Blackcoat’s Daughter.
I don’t think I’ve seen that one, I will definitely check it out though. I’d love for something to change my opinion of this director because every time I see one of his trailers I get super excited and then I see his name and that excitement immediately turns into disappointment.
