US President Donald Trump met Twitch streamer Hasan Piker at the White House on Saturday. The two bitter political rivals discussed a range of topics, from housing and internet content moderation to military intervention in Venezuela.
Despite the previous negative or even insulting statements that each had made about the other, the pair appeared to be cooperative and even on friendly terms all throughout the meeting, as exemplified by Hasan walking back his past comments on President Trump’s tight border control despite his own stress-inducing experience upon returning to the US.
Tbf, a lot of us commies get way too attached to the Soviet Bear thing or to pandas and think we could totally get a bear cuddle with a little patience, a lot of honey and berries, and the right bear. That’s probably a more common Commie Thing than we all want to admit.
