Archaeologists are to resume digging at the Ness of Brodgar on Orkney after 3D radar technology led to an “extraordinary discovery”.
The dig team at the Ness, one of the most important Neolithic sites in the British Isles, are not revealing what they believe the find to be until more work is done.
But they say it is like nothing else ever found at the site – and may not even be Neolithic.
Buried below layers of neolithic flint chips, bone scrapings and preserved crushed seed husks, an original sony Playstation, in near new condition, with two controllers and a memory card containing save files for Silent Hill I, Metal Gear Solid, and Gran Turismo. But the GT garage is just a tricked out Toyota Yaris and a stock MX-5, so the owners must have been very primitive people indeed.
My god…it’s incredible!
Ugh, just announce it then when y’all are ready, no teasers. Until then I’ll just have to assume it’s UFO related…
They’re probably running out of funding for the dig and need to secure more for next year, thus the cliffhanger.
Would actually be so funny for the first (publicly?) announced UFO to be found in Orkney
Would be even funnier if it’s an Ork Shoota.
