I’ve had to click on the huge Lemmy banner four or five times to make it go away now.

Is there a way to make it permanently go away?

    To my knowledge it will come back from time to time (like once a year or so?), but it shouldn’t take multiple tries to close it (but I had the same issue 😒 ).

    Isn’t that something the admins can just disable? It needs to be disabled every time the Lemmy version is updated, but so what? It’s not a huge amount of work to do so!
