I’ve commented on this book a few times, but usually about the really bad harem writing in the later books. But let me tell you about my experience with book one before the harem is established.
MC is a summoner but his magic power is so weak the most he can summon is a bunny. But one day MC gets attacked by big scary monster and somehow pulls on a secret hidden power and summons a mega-powerful catgirl. Specifically a were-panther. So extra fuzzy.
Now, this is all fine. Right up until a full moon hits and it’s stated that she’s in heat. It only gets more graphic and lewd from there.
Its like we’re in this crazy fantasy adventure and then suddenly… BLAM! Furry porn. So of course I read the next six books too.
That last bit was a joke. Actually the author marks the lewd chapters with heart emojis so you can skip them.

That’s actually something I like when authors do that. For example, in Campfire Cooking the recipes are marked so that readers can skip them if they don’t want to replicate them.
Closest I had was “Rise of the Weakest Summoner”

Neat! Watching the anime I was like “I bet these are real recipes you can do”
