It always makes me mad when people say “oh this warm weather is so great, much better than cold and snow”. This warm weather is a direct indicator and result of climate change. Without snow the lakes and rivers won’t be replenished, plants and animals that rely on a cold cycle will die off, and who knows what other knock on effects that will show up down the line. People are so myopic they literally can’t see how bad it is because they’re so busy being momentarily slightly more comfortable instead is saying “oh shit the water we’re in is starting to boil”.
