Rumor has it that the Russian elite is (finally) getting uneasy about this war.
Allegedly the reason is the failure of Russia protecting their oil industry, which Russia is economically dependent upon.
But more than that many (allegedly) are now thinking that if Russia can’t protect the oil industry, it won’t be able to protect Kremlin either.

Admittedly this info is from a Ukrainian and Ukraine friendly source. So it may be a bit hyped.
IMO the entire video is worth watching, but here it is with a time stamp to the elite beginning to worry:

I think the kremlin would be an easy target, but hasn’t been worthwhile yet. If it was clear putin is inside, it would probably be levelled already, even tho the Ukrainians would likely be uneasy destroing this historic site, in war you can’t always be respectful with that.

Kremlin is supposed to be heavily defended with air defense. But Ukraine has shown they can take out those defenses.
But Ukraine does not attack civilian targets, because that is a war crime, and although Russia is committing war crimes every day, Ukraine refrain from doing that.

Oh we would level it alright, don’t think we’re some noble people, we’re human just like everyone else :D

Ukraine has been very cleverly avoiding to attack civilian targets though. First it’s a very bad strategy from a military perspective, second it has helped Ukraine maintain international support with only very few exceptions from countries that ally with Russia, because those countries are authoritarian shitholes like Russia.

Yes, but the Kremlin is not a kindergarten, but an imperial symbol, so once we can and don’t need the firepower elsewhere, we would totally maybe collapse a part of it at least, maybe the wall part where moscow rulers do their New Years address. Leave a fat, gaping hole, you know.

Also we are hitting civilian/mixed-use energy infrastructure in russia now, too. So Belgorod (Bilhorod) feels connected to its ancestoral homeland :D (I am sure there is a reason, the 1918 border claim reference, however real it was back then, is a joke)

Sorry for some reason I thought Moscow when he said Kremlin?
Maybe Kremlin is a valid target IDK? It is after all a fortified position.
