    I no longer care about the big fat North American auto industry. They’ve gone too far. Let’s get some of those affordable Chinese EV’s for the masses who can no longer afford those giant 60 thousand dollar plus vehicles!

      Windsor (and surrounding cities in Ontario) has all the car making and supply chain Canada needs to build a true Canadian vehicle. It should be an EV, with a dual system, so if you run out of battery you can fill the fuel cell system with maple syrup and be on your way.

      I don’t want to depend on them for such critical infrastructure. Allow European safety standards for cars instead.

        Yeah, if we can’t build our own, then the second best option is to find a partner you can trust. As a Japanese-Canadian, I wish I could say Japan should step up, but I’m super ashamed to say that Japanese companies are such ass kissers of the US Empire.
