Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that the United States has provided a textbook example of how to deal with dictators in Venezuela and “knows what to do next”.

What Trump just did in Venezuela not very different from what Putin wanted to do in Ukraine in 2021 when his special forces tried to take Kiev’s airport.

With the possible difference that the specnaz would have been a lot less careful with Zelensky’s life.

Oh my sweet summer child. If there is anyone that doesn’t know what to do after toppling a leader it’s the US

Zelenskyy refrained from directly mentioning Russia or its illegitimate leader Vladimir Putin, but the context of his remark made it clear that he was referring to him.

I know we usually see Zelenskyy being pretty grim due to the circumstances he’s under, but you’ve got to remember he was a comedian before this

Yep. Kill a hundred thousand people, take a big shit in the middle of the country, run away, and then spend the next twenty years fighting the “terrorists” that have a problem with it. Only costs about ten thousand of America’s biggest losers and the rich get richer.

That’s a different operation, though. At least for now USA’s behaviour is more akin to what they did in Iran than Iraq or Afghanistan.

The difference to the mayhem they caused in Iran is that here USA wouldn’t need to worry about implanting a successor.

HUR will be handle that a thousand times better.

In Putin’s case they don’t need to. There are competent people around who will be able to handle that. Moscow isn’t that far from the border of civilization.

Start a pointless war that grinds up an entire generation’s worth of men just to appease a corrupt class of facist oligarchs?
