    I was in Jamaica recently. Sitting on the beach. Shopping for a new piece of furniture for when I got home. One company’s website refused to load if I was on the resort’s wifi (with a similar “suspicious activity” page). But loaded fine if I went from the cell network. Not even the foggiest hint of how to inform anyone. Could be like that for decades…

        I hope it’s a homemade bot protection whose creator had no idea that many people visit with a different ip each page.

        I made that mistake once, but it was quickly rectified
