            I can’t find a source for it, though. It’s definitely not from Mein Kampf, as I went through all occurrences of Sonne and it’s not there. There is one quote in there that says: “only once the sun went down can the moon shine”, but that’s quite different. I think it’s just another misattributed quote.

          Was joking, thought you made it up. Said Sherman as a joke in regards to the scorched earth policy he used in the march to the sea of the American civil war
