Cave Story 3D on 3DS. Because I’ve played the 2D versions enough. It’s okay I guess. The visuals suck. It’s way too dark and the models aren’t that cute. It really needs that always on-screen map so the player can tell where to jump since it’s so messy visually now. Might try to get the true/best ending though this time. I always forget how to do it and then miss the thing(s) you need to do to get it.
I didn’t even know such a cursed edition of cave story existed
if you haven’t already and you ever get the urge to cave story on 3DS again, the eShop version is really good since it’s essentially cave story plus but with the original pixel art and widescreen/stereoscopic 3D
