It’s definitely debatable on the exact percentage, but I saw many interviews of people on the street who were mostly unaware politically, and the first thing they said they either didn’t vote or voted Trump was because they didn’t think a woman was emotionally strong enough to lead the country.
Actually after writing that paragraph I looked it up. Four in 10 Americans say they know someone who would not vote for a woman president.
