had no idea this existed, but it makes perfect sense to me. the wikipedia page exemplifies with our different treatment towards dogs and cows, but even then.
treating animals as ‘pets’ and even ‘for their own good’ feels a bit wrong to me, even when i love pets myself. getting them on a leash and stripping them of their will and purpose type of thing.
even conservationism sounds condescending as fuck to me, like just don’t kill the fucking animals and their habitats in the first fucking place if you wanna preserve them??
