Never ever played this game, but it keeps popping up in both my brain and my YouTube feed… So now is the time!

Im guessing from what i can see that the graphical version via steam is to be preferred, although the old school version has so much charm to me. Whats the consensus on these two versions?

    I’ve only played it in ASCII and only vanilla or self-modded. It’s amazing out the box. The first time I played it back in 2008 I went sixteen hours straight without even realizing it, that’s how immersive it was. And it’s come a helluva long way in two decades.
