@luana@wetdry.world It will fully support using other operating systems including users making their own builds of GrapheneOS. It's part of our hardware requirements. We'll likely be able to make hardened builds of firmware and drivers which can be released in an official way for easy builds without needing to extract anything from the GrapheneOS or Motorola OS factory images.

    Hello, Moto. Welcome back.

I hope people are willing to start to vote with their wallets, because this kind of shit is deeply important for our futures.

Exact same issue. I don’t want to use Apple, but the QoL is so amazing with their devices.

That has been a GrapheneOS requirement. Good to see it confirmed on the new models.

Nothing concrete, but unlocked boot loader is a requirement for working with Graphene.

I’m looking for whatever independent mobile I can get in the coming years. I’d potentially buy Jolla, I’d potentially buy a Linux phone, and when this is announced there’s a good chance it’s on my list (as I would also be able to run Linux on it)

Still waiting on physical wireless, camera, speakers, microphones switches, and hotswapable battery pack dislodges (I want to pop off batteries like I empty a semi auto’s mag).

Would adore Jack-in, 3×USB5 ports, physical keyboard, physical volume & power buttons.
