Hey, I figured out the short rest thing in the 2024 PHB mod. Short rests only heal for 1hp because with the PHB you get hit point dice (D20) to heal. The number of dice increases per level and you can use the heal as a bonus action out of combat. It’s actually better imo because you don’t waste a short rest on healing instead you only use them when you run out of spells/action surge.
