    I’m guessing, they wanted the physique of the partner to be relevant (otherwise might as well just make it a race with weights), without encouraging those partners to starve themselves for the competition…

      Yeah 50 kg really isn’t that much for an adult woman, so a minimum here makes sense imo.

      Also proud to see our national sport spreading.
