Ian Danskin makes videos about adventure games, feminism, alt-right politics, and most recently mental health.

After a mental health breakdown related to his work, he’s published this after a year. It’s some observations on burnout, mental health hygiene, saying “no” to loved ones, knowing yourself and the basic forms of existing you might not realize you’re allowed to have, how we picture recovery, and finally a message to himself about why not to give up.

If you don’t have it in you to watch for all of them or don’t have an interest in most of it, the observations on mental hygiene start at 5:00 and are pretty relatable to a male perspective and why we find ourselves struggling with it.

If you do decide you want to see more, “How to radicalize a normy” and its accompanying research talk are all-time great hits for youtube and are responsible for pulling my little brother out of the alt right pipeline at a time when I chose to be hands-off about his beliefs.

“Games, feminism, and alt-right politics” posted in a Men’s community is certainly a vibe and a half… Way to give me 'nam flashbacks to the 2010s lol.

    I assure everyone that’s unfamiliar: he’s not a shithead.

I’m sorry 🤣 that was partly intentional. Thank you for warning people. The “How to radicalize a normy” videos are actually about that shit show and what was going on there
