    Affects iOS 18.

    iOS 26.something is the current one.

    The 18 came out in 2024 and received its latest (18.7) version came out in September, coinciding with 26

    They switched to year based versioning for 26, which is why there is a big jump.

    I’m getting all this from comments linked above and Wikipedia. I actually know next to nothing about iOS.
