The new characters, Regent and Necrobinder, have really interesting play styles. Overall, it’s proving to be a great sequel to an already great game.

I never managed to fully get into the first game, I think mostly because I only had it on mobile and there was some jank with the touch controls. The sequel feels MUUUCCHHH more refined and I’m loving the multiplayer. I’ve been trying to stop playing MTGA because the decks you go against online are just zero fun to play against, so this has been very refreshing as a PvE alternative.
@Arkhive I really got into the game after I got a Steam Deck. It’s an easy game to pick up and put down allowing me to easily fill small periods of free time without requiring muscle memory or in depth game mechanics. Everything I need to know is explained on the cards itself and it’s turn based so I can take my time.
