The worst part is that America and Israel’s halfhearted hostilities have made Iran more dangerous and less likely to collapse. The only party that benefits is a bloodthirsty Israel, and everyone else has to suffer for their evil ambitions. The international community’s unwillingness to make them a pariah state only perpetuates their reign of terror.
Yeah, I’m worried that the end result of this is that Iran will conclude that they must spend more on defense, and their citizens will rally behind the regime because there are literally enemies at the gate.

The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia, but to keep the very structure of society intact.

But what if America is just so fucked up that the only way to minimize damage to itself is literally to just always have a meat grinder to throw men into. You know, because it literally cannot produce a functionally moral majority of people.
