Yeah, a lot of that money is still being held by NIH who is refusing to release funds due to arbitrary bullshit still to this day. So many projects have been completely fucked because of this, decades of research work just pissed away.
A lot of them being cancer research projects. We’ll never know how much was lost or how many lives were ended because of the cancelation or the extreme delays in funds being released. FUNDS ALREADY APPROPRIATED BY CONGRESS AHHHH
