I have met, befriended, looked up to, been attracted to, despised and made amends with many jews in my life living in the US. How could I ever look at such a breadth of human experience I cherish uneven as it may be and draw any conclusions about it? Especially negative?
On the otherhand the far fewer amount of people I have met who support Israel as a primary part of their identity and politics were NOT the kind of people I wanted to keep hanging around.
