Hell yeah, I bet Quake II is incredible on this setup!

In all seriousness, there are decades of wonderful games to enjoy with a setup like this. Doesn’t always have to be about the latest and “greatest”

I totally agree. Simply run PS3 or PS2 games. Extra fun with those enabling co-op. Then you can play with friends both locally and local through the network (like steam remote play)

The nice part of a system that old is upgrades an be got for pretty cheap. Ebay has the i5 9500 for like $50 or the i7 for about $100. Locally you can probably find a better deal. For that $100 you might just get a whole system.

Is real 4k120hz monitor really that hard to drive by Gtx 1660 and 9th gen i3? This 2 components are still powerful hardwares, I have a laptop with 4th gen Ryzen5 and Gtx 1660ti and it can drive 4k144hz it just fine using DSR, if you are only using it for yt or normal desktop usage it’s pretty overpowered but for games it can run at 1080p and some 1440p just fine at respectable settings unless it’s Unreal5 shit then I can’t argue with that
