I’ve heard Japan’s leftist situation isn’t the greatest, to put it lightly, but I have to suspect at least a few people out of the 4.9 million who live in Hokkaido would be interested in joining in on some type of group, even if it’s something like a book/anime/manga club that focuses on exploring leftist concepts in that media.
Maybe from there it could grow into a group that does some small acts of mutual aid, or even some fun community focused projects like a community garden, or making a little library together (or maybe some of the other ideas we put forward in an older monthly meta post).
