    ayy thanks for this, just saw someone at dbzer0 argue about this very concept. I keep hearing about this vegan struggle sessions on hexbear that was before I joined and the VCJ community needing a haven or something? Where did they all migrate to afterwards?

      Bulbasaur started on Hexbear and reached out to me and a few other people on VCJ to build the Reddit alternative then we all had a giant crash out and I got banned lol https://hexbear.net/u/hamidpayaamabbasi

      After that happened we just went on Discord. Even though it is a shitty platform we met people where we are. I tried to extend it to lemmy a while ago but that was a disaster for me lol so we’re still on discord. These days it is pretty quiet but it is there. We’re trying to organize readings again and its about marxism more generally than only veganism.
